FA-BEGINNER: This course is designed to students who have prior knowledge of the Arabic Alphabets (know how to write and read only). And or know how to speak but never been exposed to Formal Arabic learning. During this course, students will be able to strengthen their reading and writing ability at the beginner level (no need to understand what is written. It is enough to be able to read fluently).

Students will learn topics that are divided into sections of vocabulary, grammars, culture, listening& reading.

Book content: This book contains 13 lessons of Al-kitaab book 1. Read more to get an overall idea about those lessons.

Recommendations: Students could join the beginner-high level of Urban Arabic at the same time, if they would like to improve their speaking skill. This will definitely speed the learning process, and in fact improve the self-expressing, since the beginner level of FA is a little rigid to use it by itself.

(Note: Students should keep in mind that this will be very intensive, but will speed the learning process).

FA-INTERMEDIATE: This course is designed to students who have previous knowledge of Al-kitaab book 1 and the Arabic Alphabets. From all the previous topics covered by the book 1, this book will be based on the beginner level, and continue from there to focus on enhancing the listening/ reading skills, in addition to the speaking (using previous grammars and vocabulary). And it will be taught with almost 100% in Arabic.

Students will be able at the end of the course to hold longer conversations, that involves more grammars, and vocabulary.

Recommendations: We highly recommend our or any students who would like to improve their speaking skill, to join our special course “Yalla ndardish” (controversial topics into societies) in addition. This course is well designed to prepare students who would like to get up & into the Media field and to be able to discuss in the language of the Educate people لُغَة المُثَقَفين. This is the highest level that someone could get, the language of the Elites and only small percentage of Lebanese people could speak it (switching between FA and UA at the same time).

(Note: keep in mind that this will add the studying hours, but speed the learning process).

Students can purchase the three volumes of Al-kitaab on their own, or they can find them at Saifi institute. Also, we recommend that students get the Hans Wehr dictionary that will help them with their studies and researches when they start to deepen into the Arabic language. i.e. looking for the roots of the words and their meanings…
