Certificates of Completion

Students at Saifi Institute are entitled to a certificate for every course they complete successfully. Saifi issues certificates of completion to all students on request. For environmental reasons, we do not issue certificates automatically.

Certificates of completion indicate the proficiency level, grade, number of hours and date of course completion. Learners receiving a failing grade will need to retake the course in order to receive a certificate. Grades are issued to all learners based on attendance, participation, homework and exams.

Receiving university credit for completed classes at Saifi is not uncommon, however, each university has different requirements and demands.

Saifi's class levels (Beginner, Beginner-Mid, Intermediate etc.) are based on the American (ACTFL) and European (CEFR), in order to make it as easy as possible to transfer credit and knowledge.

If you would like to receive credit for your language studies, we recommend printing out the course description and syllabus and discussing this issue with the language department at your university.
