This is the second level in the Saifi Urban Arabic program. At this level students expand their vocabulary enabling them to communicate in more detail on concrete topics and hold conversations for longer amounts of time. The material covered in this course includes:
- Advanced numbers
- Weak verbs in the present tense
- Past tense verbs
- The utility verb كان
- The imperative tense
- The repetition mood-marker
- Food and cooking
- Complex adjectives
- The comparative and superlative
- Adverbs of time
- Traffic and transportation
- Colors
- Clothes and shopping
- Celebrations, holidays and occasions
We recommend that all students take the conversation class that runs concurrent with this course if possible.
