The institute houses a peaceful library area on the first floor with chairs and tables where students can study and complete group projects. We also provide some board games for students to play.
A collection of books is available in English, French and Arabic (the three languages used in the Levant). Students and teachers can donate used and unwanted books to the library for everyone to enjoy.
There is an auditorium area on the second floor where we regularly hold free movie nights for students. We also use it to give special presentations to students on a variety of topics relating to the Arab world. Details of these talks and movie night are provided on the website, social media and posters around campus.
Just below the institute is a small garden with tables and chairs where you can relax, hang out and eat lunch. Our garden provides students with some calm, green space away from the bustle of Gemmazye.
