This is the third level in the Urban Arabic program. In this course students complete the basic grammar necessary to prepare them for the advanced levels. They will be able to write more complex prose and understand the essentials of most speech, including technical discussions on a familiar topic. The material covered in this course includes:
- Parts of the body and health
- Ordinal numbers
- Words about levels
- Business and hobbies
- Crime and accidents
- Advanced adverbs and adjectives
- Still, more, just, yet
- Gerunds
- The utility verb :صار to become, happen or begin
- The passive voice
- The object-noun
- Exclusion
We recommend that all students take the conversation class that runs concurrent with this course if possible.
