Urban Arabic is the spoken language used in Lebanon and the Levant. It is derived from and closely related to Formal Arabic. This shared foundation of grammar and vocabulary means it is widely understood by people across the Middle East. Our curriculum is specifically designed to teach Urban Arabic to foreigners and includes all the components necessary for foreign language learning: speaking, reading, writing, listening and grammar. Our teaching method ensures students can translate and write progressively advanced texts as they learn to speak and take command of the language.
Comprehensive, integrated course levels are designed to be taken in succession. At the higher levels, our teaching methodology enables students to switch between Formal and Urban Arabic as needed. Students also benefit from our unique collection of learning materials; course books, letter writing, a special verb book, flashcards, CD’s and an Urban Arabic dictionary.
